Namaste!

 

Yoga, breath, mindfulness.

If the combination of these three words brought a warm smile to your face and at the same time you have curiosity about the world and openness to new cultures - then the place and experience is created for you.

 

Over a week of yoga practices in India, at the foothills of the Himalayas. I designed the event in such a way as I imagine perfect free time. A vacation in a slow style but not lazy. Valuable in acquiring new skills and rich Indian culture, abundant in wonderful views and light - thanks to the carefully planned schedule.

The practice we will engage in during this time is a combination of yoga, breathing exercises, and mindfulness training. It involves performing specific asanas, breathing practices, and consciously focusing on the present moment.

 

The combination of these three elements has a beneficial effect on the body and mind, helping to restore the body's inner balance. It also brings immediate effects such as calming the mind, relaxing the body, and improving overall well-being. With regular practice, additional health benefits emerge, such as increased stamina and immune system resilience, stabilization of blood pressure levels, improved metabolism and digestion, and regulation of hormonal balance.

 

In the present moment, as we move through standing, balancing, stretching, and inverted asanas, we will strengthen the body and work on expanding our ranges. We will attempt to find peace and relaxation, striving to remain calmly active and actively calm.

 

Combining physical practice with mindfulness and breathing techniques will quiet your mind and harmonize the nervous system. This cycle of activities will encourage us to maintain a peaceful mind and fill the space with good energy and patience.

ABOUT SONIA

For the past five years, I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga – a dynamic style rooted in Mysore, South India. I completed an intensive RYT500 Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga course there, following the standards of Yoga Alliance. After completing the course, I continued my personal practice and began teaching in India, and later in Poland. I continually deepen my knowledge and meet with my students for online yoga sessions and individual classes, ensuring continuity and regularity in practice. In addition to my personal yoga practice and teaching, organising periodic workshops and retreats brings me immense joy. I believe that this form of relaxation and development yields the best results for unlocking each individual's personal potential.

Apart from yoga, photography, horse riding, and traveling occupy a significant place in my life. In my daily life, I strive to live by the principle of stoic harmony and balance.

Our experience goes far beyond the yoga mat. Bir, with its rich Tibetan heritage and warm atmosphere, creates a cultural tapestry that enriches your journey. Immerse yourself in engaging conversations with fellow seekers, explore nearby monasteries, or simply indulge in the exquisite local cuisine that tantalizes the taste buds and nourishes the body.

Stupa Guest House, the venue for our upcoming yoga event, is perfectly situated in the picturesque surroundings of Bir Billing, providing guests with a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle.

Stupa Guest House offers basic amenities such as comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a common area for social gatherings. The most charming feature of the area is the centrally located garden and the nearby Sherabling Monastery. Our hosts ensure a cozy and homely atmosphere for visitors. A personalized menu awaits us, offering a variety of local dishes, vegetarian options, as well as traditional Indian and Tibetan cuisine.

My favorite spot is the practice space. From the windows of our yoga shala, you can admire breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar mountain range and the scenic landscapes of Himachal Pradesh.
